The Apollo Q5 Series Quick Opening
Closure provides an effective, low cost means to quickly and conveniently
open low pressure vessels and piping systems that require frequent
service access.
The Type I, Q5 QOC is designed for 100 psig while the Type II and Type III QOC's are designed for 200 and 300 psig, respectively.
These units are commonly supplied in carbon steel with a nitrile o-ring
seals but stainless steel and other metallurgies are readily available on
request.
All nuts and bolts are zinc plated and the bolt pins are stainless steel to protect against corrossion.
Standard designs can be easily modified to meet your specific requirements.

Q5 QOC's are designed and built in accordance with the requirements of
Section VIII, Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
The standard unit is offered without the ASME Partial Data Report however
this option is available for a nominal added charge.
